Just when you thought doughnuts couldn’t get any better, Dunkin’ stepped in to make things a little bit more interesting. The doughnut and coffee chain has started selling DIY doughnut decorating kits at some locations, which puts all the doughnut beautifying powers in your hands. Though the kits might have been created to entertain kids who are stuck at home right now due to social distancing, they’re just as entertaining for adults who love to get a little bit crafty in the kitchen. And the best part: This craft is edible, so at the end, regardless of whether you’ve created a masterpiece or a monstrosity, you’re still left with some doughnut deliciousness.

The doughnut decorating kits originated in California, where franchisee Matt Cobo started selling them. One location offers a four-doughnut pack with three types of frosting — strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla — and two types of sprinkles for $7.99. There’s also a nine-doughnut option for more ambitious decorators that has all those fixings plus an extra style of sprinkles for $15.99.

“This is our small way of trying to brighten someone’s day,” Cobo said in a Dunkin’ post. “The simple joy of getting to create your own doughnut can make kids light up, and if we can be a part of creating that moment, that makes us happy.”

Check with your local Dunkin’ to see if the kits are available near you, and prepare to channel your inner decorator.
